About the role
- Material Handler responsible for measuring, inspecting, and packaging finished products at IPEX. This role requires operational skills of mobile material handling equipment in Mississauga, ON.
Responsibilities
- Measure, inspect, and package finished products for distribution
- Operate mobile material handling equipment.
- Identify processing problems and report them to the supervisor
- Record dimensional and physical properties of products
- Maintain orderly storage areas
- Assist in equipment movement and production line startup
- Build and pack pipe crates
Requirements
- Completion of high school diploma or practical equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Experience with plastic extrusion is a strong asset
- Knowledge of Health and Safety practices is necessary.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must be flexible to work a bi-weekly rotating day and night shift schedule
