About the role

  • Engineering Change Control Specialist ensuring engineering changes are compliant and support regulated plant operations. Guiding full lifecycle from scope to turnover with audit readiness in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure engineering changes are compliant with BP‑PROC‑01081
  • Maintain configuration and management equilibrium
  • Validate design‑basis integrity
  • Support safe, regulated plant operations
  • Guide the complete engineering change lifecycle using ECC standards
  • Ensure full traceability and audit readiness
  • Use ECC and risk‑informed processes to safeguard nuclear safety pillars

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or similar post-secondary education) in computer science or engineering, with demonstrated academic excellence;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the field of ECC and using Maximo;
  • Experience creating engineering design and test documentation;
  • Working knowledge of BP-PROC-01081 and related procedures and standards required for full ECC lifecycle management;
  • Comfortable in client‑facing situations, and excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively with limited oversight;
  • Results‑driven and flexible.
  • Professional Engineer license in Ontario (or pursuing);
  • Familiarity with EC stakeholder roles and governance structure;
  • Experience preparing ECC deliverables such as RTMs, SWRs, SWMs, ICS, and BOMs;
  • Proven ability to develop Change Papers (DCPs/DCNs) and working knowledge of On-Line Wiring (OLW) in accordance with ECC processes;
  • Commissioning and installation experience.
