About the role

  • .NET Tech Lead providing technical and strategic support to clients, leading a development team to achieve goals in various business sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement modern, robust and scalable software solutions using .NET technologies;
  • Resolve complex technical issues by quickly analyzing complex situations and proposing pragmatic solutions;
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, consistency and the sharing of best practices within the team;
  • Take on a technical leadership role within the team, creating a work environment where everyone can express themselves, learn and contribute;
  • Provide coaching and training to developers, supporting them in a personalized manner in their technical and professional development;
  • Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, Scrums, retrospectives), promoting listening, transparency and continuous improvement;
  • Actively participate in business needs analysis;
  • Act as a facilitator between stakeholders (POs, architecture consultants, quality assurance, etc.), building bridges between technical expertise and business objectives;
  • Organize technology watch workshops to share emerging trends with junior developers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, or diploma of college studies (DEC) with equivalent professional experience;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in .NET development, including 2 to 3 years of experience as a tech lead;
  • Experience with the .NET stack (C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework) as well as relational databases (SQL Server);
  • Knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Sprint), Waterfall and hybrid methodologies, with the ability to adapt to client practices;
  • Adaptability, team spirit, and a solution-oriented mindset;
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Extra edge: Experience with Angular; Industry experience in insurance, financial services, or other business sectors; Experience in consulting services.
  • Language skills: French: Proficient, English: Proficient.
