About the role
- Microsoft AI and Data Architect designing and delivering scalable data platforms for enterprise clients at AOT Technologies. Lead architecture on AI, data, and cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities
- Design secure AI and data architectures on Microsoft Azure
- Build architecture diagrams, reference architectures, and implementation roadmaps
- Guide engineering teams through implementation
- Review code, pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment designs
- Translate business requirements into AI, data, and cloud-native solution designs
- Evaluate technology options and recommend fit-for-purpose patterns
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on Azure Cloud experience, including:
- Azure Kubernetes Service
- Azure Container Apps
- Azure API Management
- Azure Networking
- Private endpoints, VNET integration, DNS, firewall, and secure connectivity
- Managed identities, Key Vault, RBAC, and enterprise security patterns
- Cloud-native application architecture
- Monitoring, logging, and production support patterns
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with Azure AI services, including:
- Azure AI Foundry
- Azure OpenAI
- AI workflow development
- Foundry Agents and/or agentic AI solution design
- Semantic Kernel, Autogen or Microsoft Agent Framework
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation architecture
- Azure AI Search
- Document Intelligence
- Prompt engineering and prompt orchestration
- Minimum 3+ years of Microsoft Fabric and data engineering experience, including:
- Microsoft Fabric
- OneLake
- Fabric Lakehouse
- Data Engineering workloads
- Azure Data Factory and/or Fabric Data Factory pipelines
- Medallion architecture: Bronze, Silver, Gold
- Power BI integration
- Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
