About the role
- Full-stack engineer building Tackle’s post-transaction marketplace systems for AppDirect’s cloud commerce platform. Developing React, Node.js, Go, and AWS services for contracts, payments, and usage data.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack features across Tackle's post-transaction product
- Expose marketplace data through React frontends and TypeScript/Node.js and Go backends
- Design and implement AWS backend services, including serverless and event-driven systems
- Own and evolve data integrations with AWS, Microsoft, and Google marketplaces
- Publish change events consumed by downstream systems
- Own features end to end from design through deployment and operation
- Develop customer APIs, CRM integrations, and data-change notifications
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers on marketplace billing and usage-data modeling, synchronization, and presentation
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge across the engineering team
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience building full-stack web applications
- Working knowledge of frontend and backend layers
- Professional experience with React and TypeScript, or strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with readiness to work in a TypeScript-only codebase
- Hands-on experience deploying applications on AWS, particularly Lambda, API Gateway, or DynamoDB
- Familiarity with event-driven patterns such as EventBridge, SQS, Step Functions, or DynamoDB streams is a plus
- Comfort working with external APIs and transforming data between systems
- Comfort working with AI coding tools; AppDirect uses Cursor heavily
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive work forward with limited direction
- Intellectual curiosity about how code fits into broader systems
