About the role

Civil Project Engineer at Arcadis focusing on the design and delivery of civil engineering projects for urban development. Collaborating with teams to ensure project success in the Markham area.

Responsibilities

Leading project tasks, including researching, compiling, and evaluating project data
Preparation of technical reports, including Engineering Due Diligence Reports, Functional Servicing Reports, and SWM reports
Preparation of detailed design engineering drawings, including site servicing, grading, and municipal infrastructure design
Performing design calculations for Storm, Sanitary, and Water in support of proposed developments
Coordination with our international design support teams to provide CAD support
Site visits for data collection and construction observation
Complete other administrative duties as required

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. P. Eng status or Eligibility for registration with PEO
5 or more years of proven professional experience working on civil infrastructure/ land development
Strong work ethic and ability to multitask, prioritize, and take direction while working in a dynamic project environment
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
A commitment to excellence and high-quality work with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
Fluent in the use of: Civil 3D, Microsoft Office software
Valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.
