About the role
- Senior Design Engineer in Transportation for Arcadis managing municipal roadway and infrastructure projects in Canada. Collaborating with teams to deliver sustainable design solutions that improve communities and mobility.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation engineering design and technical expertise with a clear focus on municipal roadway projects
- Take responsibility for detailed calculations, model creation, and drawing production
- Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and detailed cost estimates
- Coordinate the delivery of technical designs to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's University Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
- P.Eng in Alberta or BC
- 8-15 years of municipal infrastructure and roadway design experience at increasing levels of responsibility
- Experience with integrating new civil infrastructure with existing infrastructure will be an asset
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design purposes is required
