Responsibilities
Partner with Design from maker phase
Support concepts through to pre-production (counter sample)
Create patterns that meet design intent and construction expectations
Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners
Report on prototype and sample progress
Maintain computer pattern libraries
Provide estimates of raw material yields
Requirements
Relevant post-secondary education
5+ years’ experience in product pattern making
Ability to work from pattern blocks or from sketches
Excellent knowledge of garment constructions
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues
Demonstrate initiative, agility, and commitment
Highly flexible and adaptable
Inspire breakthrough thinking
Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills (written and verbal)
