- Pattern Maker 2 collaborating with Design to create production patterns for outdoor apparel at Arc’teryx. Building relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and fit.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Design from maker phase
- Support concepts through to pre-production (counter sample)
- Create patterns that meet design intent and construction expectations
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners
- Report on prototype and sample progress
- Maintain computer pattern libraries
- Provide estimates of raw material yields
Requirements
- Relevant post-secondary education
- 5+ years’ experience in product pattern making
- Ability to work from pattern blocks or from sketches
- Excellent knowledge of garment constructions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues
- Demonstrate initiative, agility, and commitment
- Highly flexible and adaptable
- Inspire breakthrough thinking
- Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills (written and verbal)
