About the role
- Vendor Program Manager managing preferred vendors, payments, reporting, and platform compliance. Supporting two Calgary offices for a property management company.
Responsibilities
- Work with and manage people
- Promote the Preferred Vendor Program
- Handle cold calls and manage complaints
- Act as the primary vendor contact
- Provide program support and marketing
- Book Vendor Lunch & Learns
- Participate in Associa Cares Events and attend vendor events
- Monitor expressions of interest for new vendors
- Generate agreements for new vendors joining the program and ensure VendorPM compliance
- Support branch marketing initiatives
- Track and manage revenue
- Review invoicing
- Accept vendor payments by cheque and e-transfer
- Prepare monthly income reports
- Manage Vendor Channel fee accounts receivable
- Present updates at All Staff meetings
- Review and track platform usage
- Provide reports to managers and leadership
- Liaise with the platform vendor
- Manage vendor RFPs
Requirements
- A High School graduate with proficient computer skills
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Strong computer skills
- A multi-tasker who strives in an ever-changing environment of Rental and Condominium Management
- Good at problem solving and dealing with conflict resolutions
- Able to work well alone and also an excellent team player
