About the role

  • Geotechnical Engineer in Training at AtkinsRéalis supporting transportation, rail, and energy sectors. Collaborating on multidisciplinary projects and mentoring junior staff to develop engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with various AtkinsRéalis professionals in multiple sectors such as transportation, rail & transit, energy, cities, and developments
  • Participate on multi-disciplinary teams and projects
  • Assist in major programs, supporting complex proposals, mentoring junior staff, and act as a technical reference
  • Develop and expand infrastructure geotechnics capability by building on the existing portfolio of our team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of strong Geotechnical Engineering experience
  • A strong academic background with a relevant university degree
  • Proven experience working in the field, preferably in geotechnical drilling operations
  • Proven experience in highways, rail, municipal roads and bridges
  • Application of Design Standards and Guidelines in a design and field work ground investigation environment
