About the role
- Lead Engineer in Process Automation driving technical projects at AtkinsRéalis. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring client satisfaction through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead on automation projects
- Contribute to the design of control architectures (DCS, PLC, SCADA)
- Supervise or carry out programming, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and good manufacturing practices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers
- Maintain close client relationships and contribute to client satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Automated Production (or equivalent)
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with automation platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Experion PKS, DeltaV, etc.)
- Knowledge of ISA standards, machine safety, and regulated environments
- Bilingual (French/English)
