About the role
- Senior RAMS Engineer coordinating safety assurance, compliance demonstrations, and technical deliverables for AtkinsRéalis's Québec City Tramway Project. Liaising with clients, suppliers, and systems teams.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan, and oversee RAMS activities for the Québec City Tramway Project
- Serve as the client's primary point of contact for all RAMS matters
- Lead technical meetings and coordinate discussions among stakeholders
- Manage preparation and acceptance of safety and demonstration deliverables
- Act as liaison between systems, testing, operations, and supplier teams
- Identify risks, resolve technical issues, and propose practical solutions
- Monitor activity progress and provide regular updates to management
- Coordinate technical decision-making and communication to secure project milestones and timely acceptance of deliverables
- Ensure technical consistency across suppliers, disciplines, and stakeholders
- Manage compliance demonstrations, requirements management, and justification dossiers
Requirements
- Expertise in RAMS, Safety Assurance, and Systems Assurance
- Demonstrated experience in project management
- Proven ability to identify and leverage business development opportunities
- Experience preparing cost estimates
- Experience developing technical and quality proposals for competitive bidding processes
- Strong team player with a high level of reliability
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities
- Resourceful and able to work effectively in ambiguous situations
- Excellent proficiency in French
