Responsibilities
- Support environmental impact assessments, permitting studies and other client requests
- Identification and assessment of air quality impacts
- Atmospheric dispersion modelling
- Contaminant emissions inventories
- GHG emissions and mitigation
- Development of dust management plans
- Odor assessment
- Development and implementation of ambient air quality monitoring programs
- Indoor air quality sampling programs and recommendations
- Report writing
- Lead and support business development activities, including client relationship management, opportunity identification, and proposal development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or another relevant engineering degree
- PMP or CAPM certification
- 10+ years of progressive experience in air quality
- Experience with atmospheric contaminants and GHG emissions calculations
- Experience with the AERMOD and Calpuff dispersion models
- Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with Python programming and panda’s library for predictive modelling
- Knowledge of federal, provincial, and local regulations related to air quality and emissions compliance
- Experience preparing competitive proposals and supporting business development
