About the role
- Intermediate Mechanical/Process Engineer providing design solutions for Nuclear Power Plants within a matrix organization. Prepare and review design documents while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide design solutions for System, Structure and Component modifications
- Prepare and/or review design documents for nuclear and conventional systems
- Prepare and/or review Engineering Quotation Request and Tender Technical Evaluations
- Ensure applicable code, standards and regulatory requirements and met
- Support Engineering Management with timely updates on engineering progress
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders as required
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering from an accredited University
- Registered Professional Engineer in Province of Ontario
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Mechanical/Process Design
- Experience in preparing design documents like Calculation, Assessment, Design Drawing, and BOM
- Experience in procurement activities
- Knowledge of nuclear codes and standards, including CSA N285, ASME Section III Division 1 and ASME B31.1
- Strong written and oral communication skills
