About the role

  • Intermediate Mechanical/Process Engineer providing design solutions for Nuclear Power Plants within a matrix organization. Prepare and review design documents while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide design solutions for System, Structure and Component modifications
  • Prepare and/or review design documents for nuclear and conventional systems
  • Prepare and/or review Engineering Quotation Request and Tender Technical Evaluations
  • Ensure applicable code, standards and regulatory requirements and met
  • Support Engineering Management with timely updates on engineering progress
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders as required

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering from an accredited University
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Province of Ontario
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Mechanical/Process Design
  • Experience in preparing design documents like Calculation, Assessment, Design Drawing, and BOM
  • Experience in procurement activities
  • Knowledge of nuclear codes and standards, including CSA N285, ASME Section III Division 1 and ASME B31.1
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
