About the role
- Industrial Engineer responsible for optimizing electronics manufacturing processes at Delta Controls. Focusing on efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement within the company.
Responsibilities
- Optimize SMT, THT, assembly, testing, and packaging processes
- Perform line balancing, time studies, and workflow optimization
- Improve OEE, throughput, cycle time, and first-pass yield
- Identify and implement automation opportunities (fixtures, robotics, automated test, material flow)
- Support NPI and define efficient production flows
- Develop and improve production layouts
- Analyze scrap, rework, and defect trends
- Establish and monitor KPIs
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing (PCBA + assembly)
- Knowledge of SMT/THT processes and IPC standards
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and automation projects
- Strong data analysis skills (Excel; ERP/MES experience preferred)
