About the role

  • Chief of Staff supporting Autodesk’s Growth and Partner Marketing leadership. Driving strategic planning, executive communications, budgets, and cross-functional programs remotely across the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Vice President, GPM to plan and facilitate executive meetings and workshops
  • Formulate meeting topics, build and advise agendas, guide discussions, consolidate notes and action items, and follow up
  • Design and guide outcome-oriented strategy meetings and workshops
  • Assist in setting priorities and defining yearly goals, objectives, and OKRs; track and report quarterly
  • Help lead the annual budget and planning process for GPM
  • Lead and manage cross-functional GPM projects and programs from conception to completion
  • Coordinate with marketing, engineering, product management, HR, and Finance teams
  • Develop briefing materials, presentations, and reports for the Vice President
  • Manage internal team communications and communications to the wider Autodesk organization
  • Provide high-level administrative support, including managing budgets and vendor invoicing
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives and partners
  • Serve as liaison between the Vice President, GPM, and stakeholders
  • Drive operational efficiency, streamline processes, implement best practices, and identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Provide insight and analysis to executives and senior leaders and represent the Vice President in selected meetings
  • Frame problems and develop structures and models to clarify problems and trade-offs
  • Promote team effectiveness through business-process improvement, annual planning, strategic visioning, and product tooling best practices
  • Collaborate with other Chiefs of Staff across Autodesk to share and develop best practices
  • Develop presentation content for executive meetings and product team leaders
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members
  • Support team culture and morale initiatives with the people team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business administration, or related field preferred
  • 8+ years of experience being a strategic partner, leading large programs across teams or organizations, often working on multiple projects at the same time
  • 3-5+ years in a leadership role a plus
  • Prior experience in the Tech industry
  • Global company experience needed
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable strategies
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences
  • Versatile self-starter with a team-oriented work style
  • Ability to build credibility and relationships quickly across functions and levels
  • Ability to handle business sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and guide stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • This role can be located in Canada or the United States
