About the role
- Senior Software Developer building Autodesk’s scalable cloud data services for AEC products. Developing AWS infrastructure, automated tests, and high-throughput enterprise services.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable, secure, performant, and high-throughput services using cloud technology
- Partner with product managers, product owners, software architects, and stakeholders to turn requirements into incremental product enhancements
- Contribute to software design and architecture using cloud design patterns
- Develop infrastructure capable of operating at scale
- Implement unit, regression, and end-to-end tests
- Improve team processes and deliverables
- Document and present ideas and solutions accurately and thoroughly
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science
- 4+ years of Software Development experience building enterprise level cloud services
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture and microservices
- Experience with AWS services and technologies, including EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS
- Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, C#, and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Node.js, and .NET
- Understanding of security principles, authentication, and authorization mechanisms in AWS, including SOC-2
- Experience implementing and maintaining automated testing processes
- Experience monitoring backend performance and implementing optimizations for scalability, response times, and resource utilization
- Experience working in an Agile process is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
