About the role

  • Senior Business Operations Manager executing strategy, planning, governance, and reporting for Aviso, a Canadian wealth management and investment services provider. Leading cross-functional initiatives across Asset Management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage annual departmental business planning processes, translating strategic direction into actionable plans and deliverables
  • Coordinate annual budget and FTE planning and allocate resources effectively
  • Support planning, prioritization, and sequencing of strategic initiatives across Asset Management
  • Manage the enterprise delivery intake process through governance
  • Oversee execution of key initiatives, managing and reporting timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Lead and deliver selected strategic projects aligned with business priorities
  • Produce the annual Asset Management Balanced Scorecard and coordinate departmental scorecards
  • Maintain scorecards and track and report performance consistently
  • Prepare Executive Committee reporting
  • Represent Asset Management in key enterprise forums and committees
  • Prepare governance forum materials, updates, and inputs
  • Maintain and update the quarterly risk register and track mitigation actions
  • Ensure initiatives comply with enterprise governance, risk, and change management requirements

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in asset management
  • Experience with strategy, business management, or project management
  • Strong track record delivering initiatives and managing projects in complex, cross-functional environments
  • Experience supporting budgeting, resource planning, and business performance tracking
  • Comfortable operating in structured governance and reporting environments
  • Proven ability to execute with discipline and manage competing priorities
  • Fluent communication skills in English required
  • Bilingual skills in French are an asset
