About the role

  • Audit and quality assurance consultant strengthening Beneva’s property insurance underwriting quality and compliance. Analyzing data, guiding audits, reporting findings, and supporting regulatory governance.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate, structure, clean, and analyze data related to underwriting activities and business quality.
  • Prepare management reporting, including monthly reports, quarterly and annual reviews, and presentations for various governance bodies.
  • Identify trends and pain points, document findings, and formulate structured optimization recommendations.
  • Advise the Senior Director on the audit plan and processes for the VPDDAP and lead their development.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of tools, software, processes, and working methods.
  • Advise the Senior Director on structuring and overseeing first-line-of-defense distribution monitoring activities and processes.
  • Lead diagnostics, recommendations, and governance activities related in particular to fraud and access-to-information requests.
  • Centralize and coordinate the collection of information and required follow-ups for audits, inspections, and regulatory requests.
  • Ensure the traceability of analyses and recommendations and maintain up-to-date, well-structured documentation.
  • Advise the Senior Director on regulatory consultation exercises and consultations with market stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on corporate projects related to underwriting quality and compliance.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

  • Hold a university bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as law, business administration, finance, or management.
  • Have five years of experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulatory frameworks, and audit processes applicable to property and casualty insurance.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
