About the role

  • HR Information Systems Analyst overseeing Workday security configurations, maintaining HR system operations and leading project activities. Supporting various teams to enhance operational outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the business lead and other Workday leads to deliver on the Executive Vice President’s roadmap for projects, mandates and optimizations
  • Support day-to-day operations (respond to specific issues as they arise, analyze and explain these situations, identify solutions and participate in implementing them) and propose improvement opportunities
  • Perform complex tasks requiring specialized expertise and knowledge of HR systems (particularly the Workday system)
  • Assess the potential and impacts of new Workday features twice a year
  • Provide analyses and recommendations and perform activations when required
  • Participate in various project activities (analysis, design, implementation and test validation)
  • Support project rollouts (establish the operational environment, assist in preparing and delivering training, provide hands-on user support during the stabilization period and support users after go-live)
  • Collaborate with other departments on projects that impact the Executive Vice President’s operations
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to obtain or provide information necessary for smooth operations, new practices and targeted improvements
  • Contribute to achieving established objectives and monitor their progress
  • Assist in developing policies, procedures and guidelines related to the team’s operations
  • Participate in change management, communications and training activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related and relevant discipline
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of computer tools such as the Office suite and HRIS systems; knowledge of JIRA is an asset
  • Demonstrated leadership and a strong ability to work in a team
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through; experience working in a project-based environment (Agile)
  • Solid knowledge of the Workday system, security and HR-related operations
  • Fluency in French, both spoken and written, and functional proficiency in English
