About the role
- Technical Resource Technician supporting Beneva employees with IT incidents, workstations, software, telephony, and equipment. Maintaining inventories, CMDB records, accounts, and user support operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to employees experiencing workstation-related issues
- Participate in workstation setup and provide technical support for videoconferencing equipment
- Receive and process service, incident, and information requests from computer-system users
- Resolve requests at first contact whenever possible
- Record, qualify, categorize, route, and document user requests and solutions
- Assist users when on-site support is required
- Install software on individual workstations
- Open and close access accounts for computer systems
- Deliver, install, and maintain office equipment such as PCs, printers, and projectors
- Deliver, install, and maintain telephony equipment such as phones, headsets, and mobile phones
- Install and maintain software on workstations
- Maintain the CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
- Maintain inventories of IT infrastructure and telephony equipment
- Retrieve files from backups
- Follow up on orders
- Participate in office reorganizations
- Participate in identifying solutions for incidents and problems
- Occasionally train help desk technicians
- Participate in team activities organized under management supervision
Requirements
- DEC or AEC in computer science, electronics, or network installation
- Proficiency in spoken and written French
