About the role
- QA Engineer overseeing product quality for a highly interactive social discovery app. Work remotely while collaborating with engineers and designers to enhance user experience.
Responsibilities
- Owning product quality across mobile and web
- Designing and running test scenarios that reflect real user behavior
- Performing regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Validating APIs and integrations to ensure smooth end-to-end flows
- Identifying edge cases, documenting issues clearly, and following them through
- Improving testing practices as the product and team scale
- Collaborating closely across teams - QA here is part of the build process, not an afterthought
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on mobile testing
- At least 2 years of hands-on web testing experience
- Hands-on experience testing complex, consumer-facing mobile apps
- Experience working with data-heavy, feature-rich products
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Postman, Swagger (or similar)
- A sharp eye for detail, paired with strong prioritization skills
- An ownership mindset - you don’t wait to be told what to test
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork
