About the role

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary project team in field and office settings.
  • Execute field programs for environmental site assessments and monitoring.
  • Carry out hazardous building materials assessments and oversight.
  • Prepare technical reports and manage data using MS Excel and Word.
  • Collaborate on project objectives and deliverables.

Requirements

  • BSc. in Earth Sciences/Environmental Sciences or B.A.Sc in civil or environmental engineering.
  • Eligibility to become a P.Geo. or P.Eng.
  • 1 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Territorial and Federal environmental guidelines and regulations.
  • Knowledge of geology, physical and chemical hydrogeology.
  • Experience in environmental site assessments (Phase I, II).
  • Familiarity with hazardous materials regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel broadly.
