About the role
- Cloud Engineer designing and implementing secure cloud solutions at BMO. Collaborating with stakeholders to drive cloud migration strategies and manage enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement BMO Cloud Platform and shared services
- Drive secure cloud application environments and platform enhancements
- Partner with stakeholders to create Cloud migration strategy
- Develop automated provisioning and management patterns
- Ensure compliance with security and standards
- Design enterprise-scale cloud environments and dependencies
Requirements
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services
- Strong programming skills with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Proven experience in setting up and managing public cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of cloud provisioning, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
- Proficiency in cloud automation tools such as AWS CLI, CloudFormation, or Terraform
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Ansible, Bitbucket, and Git
- Experience with containers and Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
- Familiarity with Amazon services like Lambda, DynamoDB, and Kinesis
