About the role
- Aircraft Structure Technician repairing composite, fiberglass, and metal damage on CH147F aircraft for Boeing Canada. Responsible for aircraft inspections, modification, and compliance with Canadian regulations.
Responsibilities
- Repair composite/fiberglass/metal damage on the aircraft
- Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems
- Configures aircraft and bench test equipment
- Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
- Documents procedures and establishes processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
- Comply with safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Inspect components and verify repairs for flightworthiness
- Works under general direction, interfacing with On-Site Program Management
- Ability to perform as part of a cohesive team, working toward a common goal
Requirements
- Must have 3+ years’ experience with sheet metal work
- Must have 1+ years’ experience with composite repair
- Must have 1+ years’ experience with painting aircraft/components
- Must have one of the following: Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Avionics Technician (AME-E) licensed or Military equivalent
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment
- Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods
- Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance
- Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
