About the role
- Senior Software Engineer creating product features and enhancements for Boomi's integration platform. Collaborating with teams while adopting AI technologies for software engineering efforts.
Responsibilities
- Participate in design, development and unit testing of Boomi products including enhancements and/or resolution of reported issues
- Work independently with minimal guidance from technical leadership
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverables
- Investigate defects to identify root causes and provide potential solutions
- Mentor other Boomi engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews bullet points
Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Java, Advanced Java, JUnit, CI/CD, and Source Control Systems
- Proven ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with minimal training
- Experience in software architecture design and development, including IDE usage with solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts
- Experience with agile collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience designing well-defined RESTful APIs, API documentation tools like OpenAPI, testing tools like Postman and SOAP UI
