About the role

  • Business Leadership Coach at Breakthrough Academy specializing in guiding high-performing entrepreneurs. Coaching senior leaders in the contracting industry towards strategic growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Coaching Leaders Circle and Masters Circle Members, entrepreneurs running mature contracting companies, to elevate leadership capacity, strategic thinking, and organizational structure.
  • Facilitating deep-dive group sessions that go beyond systems into leadership, mindset, wellness, and relationships.
  • Running structured one-on-one executive coaching sessions focused on delegation, culture, team development, and scaling sustainably.
  • Guiding Members in setting long-term strategic plans and implementing the right frameworks to support continued growth.
  • Bringing insight and best practices from your own executive experience to challenge and inspire others.
  • Playing a key role in the evolution of the Ascension Program, working alongside senior leadership to refine meeting structures, content, and cadence.
  • Learning the rhythms of the program and Member base in your first 6–12 months, absorbing insights before taking full ownership of the program’s direction.
  • Championing the Member experience, building strong peer-to-peer relationships within the coaching community.
  • Supporting major events and advanced leadership retreats as a facilitator and thought leader.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in an operations or executive leadership role within the general contracting or construction industry, ideally having led divisions or companies with $5M–$50M+ in annual revenue.
  • Proven experience leading senior managers or executive teams.
  • Deep understanding of organizational design, leadership development, and business systemization.
  • Strong operational and financial acumen , able to speak the language of growth, margin, and performance.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring leaders, formally or informally.
  • Exceptional facilitation and communication skills, comfortable leading groups of accomplished peers.
  • Ability to present information engagingly in both in-person and virtual environments.
  • Nice to Have: Certified executive coach or relevant leadership coaching experience.
  • Experience as a CEO, COO, VP of Operations, or Senior Leadership within a large contracting or construction organization.
  • Experience contributing to or leading leadership development programs.
