About the role
- Associate Instrumentation & Control Engineer collaborating on power plant projects across North America and globally. Contributing to design, procurement, and engineering studies in a flexible work environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and support teams of Instrumentation & Controls engineers on power plant projects across North America and globally
- Contribute to technical design, procurement, planning, and coordination efforts for new and expanding power generation facilities
- Participate in engineering studies and detailed design for power plants, including critical Balance of Plant systems
- Integrate into established, multidisciplinary project teams in a way that aligns with your expertise and experience, enabling meaningful impact and continued professional growth
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
- Previous I&C design experience for large scale power plants preferred
- Experience in developing control system network architecture diagrams, I/O list, instrument data sheets, control narratives, control logic diagrams, P&IDs for control and instrumentation, and procurement specifications for I&C equipment
- Experience in instrumentation and process automation systems applications and selection
- Excellent writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be both an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Willingness to learn processes and procedures specific to the power industry
- Maintain some flexibility in work hours, if required by the client or project.
