About the role
- Providing clerical support in the HSC Security Services department at Shared Health in Winnipeg. Ensuring effective staffing and reporting activities in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Providing clerical support to the HSC Security Services department.
- Processing job postings and related paperwork.
- Maintaining position control and registering new hires in orientation sessions.
- Ensuring that the Manager(s) is/are aware of staffing levels.
- Maintaining information and employee profiles in the staff scheduling system.
- Updating the day to day schedule changes and running staffing reports as requested.
- Entering reports in the security reporting program.
- Performing duties in the Access Card office and other clerical duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum two years previous related experience, preferably in a health care setting.
- Experience with the SAP payroll program preferred.
- Experience with scheduling including long call and short call required.
- Complete Grade 12 education, Manitoba standards, required.
- Successful completion of a recognized secretarial training program required.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills required.
- Must have excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
- Typing 50 wpm.
- Knowledge of personal computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
