About the role
- Software developer intern contributing to data analysis tools for high-speed photonic components at Ciena. Join the R&D team in Quebec City for a 4 month term from September to December.
Responsibilities
- Develop software to perform data analysis
- Build data management and presentation tools
- Work closely with validation engineers to fully understand requirements and develop optimal solutions
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an engineering program or a related field (electrical, physics, computer science)
- Strong skills in statistics
- Comfortable learning new software tools
- Excellent knowledge of one or more of the following languages: Python, SQL, C#
