About the role
- Senior Software Engineer building and scaling APIs for cryptocurrency compliance at Chainalysis. Collaborating with teams on high-availability infrastructure and data processing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build a high-availability, low-latency, scalable API leveraging the most relevant services from AWS
- Add features to our product suite that detect activities for market manipulation, fraud, behavioral patterning, and more.
- Build cloud-native data ingestion and aggregation processes that intake terabytes of data per day.
- Set up local team services that are easy to install and simple to understand production health monitoring.
- Debug production issues and lead blameless post-mortem processes to make the systems stronger.
Requirements
- Designed and implemented microservices-based systems in a major cloud provider like AWS or GCP.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages. We mostly use Java but appreciate a variety of languages!
- A bias to ship and iterate alongside product management and design partners.
- Exposure to or interest in the cryptocurrency technology ecosystem.
- Experience in developing and maintaining streaming applications.
