About the role
- Senior Full Stack Web Application Developer working on a cloud-native application for the financial services industry. Collaborating in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies with a focus on NodeJS and React.
Responsibilities
- You will be working in a cross-functional team, using agile methodologies to build and support an AWS cloud native application for the financial services industry.
- We are looking for developers with great communication skills and lots of experience with NodeJS and React.
- The project is 5 years old and in active development for the foreseeable future.
- We have strong test automation in place from unit testing to end to end browser testing.
- Most of the work is new development with occasional refactoring and support needed.
- AWS experience is desirable and its definitely a differential, but not a requirement and something we can help you develop.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience with web application development
- 2+ years of experience with Node.JS / Typescript
- 1+ years of experience with React / Redux
- Experience designing and developing asynchronous processes using queues.
- Solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes - debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles and refactoring.
- Must be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
