About the role
- Asset Protection Security Guard monitoring logging equipment and maintaining security at remote logging sites. Reliable individuals needed for overnight shifts in Duncan, BC.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect logging equipment and assets during overnight shifts
- Conduct regular **mobile and foot patrols** across the site
- Observe and report suspicious activity, trespassing, or safety concerns
- Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and vandalism
- Complete detailed **daily and incident reports**
- Communicate with supervisors and emergency services as needed
- Ensure the site remains secure at all times
Requirements
- Valid **BC Security Licence** (Required)
- Valid **Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence** with clean driver’s abstract (Required)
- Comfortable with **extended travel** to and from site (travel time paid)
- Strong **written and verbal communication skills**
- Ability to work **outdoors in varying weather conditions**
- Must be **eligible to work in Canada**
- **Nice to Have**
- **OFA Level 1 (or higher)** certification
- Previous experience in **asset protection, industrial, or remote site environments**
