Responsibilities

Help design and build CoLab's next-generation simulation review capabilities.
Build services that ingest and process simulation data from industry-standard engineering software.
Develop high-performance visualization experiences capable of displaying large simulation datasets.
Partner closely with Product, Design, and customers to validate ideas before building them.
Spend time embedded with the Engineering Reviews team to develop deep product and customer understanding before transitioning onto the Simulation team.
Contribute to architectural decisions that will shape this product area for years to come.
Improve performance, scalability, and reliability as simulation capabilities grow.
Collaborate with engineers across the platform to ensure simulation becomes a seamless part of the broader CoLab experience.

8+ years building production software in a modern engineering environment.
Strong experience designing scalable backend systems and customer-facing applications.
Experience building complex data visualization or graphics-intensive applications.
The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with teammates.
A product mindset - you think about customer outcomes as much as technical implementation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), CFD, or other CAE workflows.
Experience with engineering simulation platforms
Experience with CAD, PLM, or engineering software development.
Large engineering datasets and high-performance rendering.
