- Work as part of a team with Providers, Families, Community Partners, and Children.
- Ensure safety of children and create equitable opportunities for all children to engage.
- Maintain cleanliness of all equipment, furniture, and materials.
- Actively engage in professional learning.
Requirements
- Access to suitable operational space for up to 6 children.
- Experience with young children.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong behaviour guidance skills including problem solving, positive reinforcement, and redirection strategies.
- Valid/accredited Standard First Aid/CPR Level C certificate.
- Updated immunization records or signed refusal of affidavit/medical exemption.
- Current Police Vulnerable Sector Check (not older than three months).
- Active Food Handler’s Certificate.
