About the role
- Quality Assurance Analyst testing software for Computershare’s global customer communications solutions. Validating releases, tracking defects, and supporting a major internal transformation initiative.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements and develop testing strategies
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases
- Perform end-to-end, black box, white box, and regression testing
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Validate communications outputs generated through the transformation project
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance activities
- Maintain testing documentation and contribute to continuous process improvements
- Participate in validation of system upgrades and software releases
- Work closely with the dedicated QA team throughout the project lifecycle
- Help ensure software solutions are thoroughly tested, meet business requirements, and are ready for successful deployment
Requirements
- Quality assurance testing experience within a commercial environment
- Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance methodologies
- Strong database knowledge and SQL querying experience
- Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins, SharePoint, MTM, and PDF comparison tools
- Thorough understanding of black box, white box, end-to-end, and regression testing methodologies
- Ability to read and analyze structured data formats, including XML and flat files
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- University degree in an Information Technology-related field or equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Automation testing experience (preferred)
- Experience testing Quadient Inspire CCM platforms (preferred)
- ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications (preferred)
- Financial services experience (preferred)
- Experience working within banking or other highly regulated environments (preferred)
