About the role
- Automation Supervisor at DSV responsible for coordinating e-commerce automation activities. Overseeing operations to maximize throughput and productivity in logistics environments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all e-commerce automation activities to ensure automated systems and mechanized operations are fully optimized and operating efficiently.
- Oversee workload analysis, order allocation, wave management, and labor balancing recommendations.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting and resolution for Warehouse Management System (WMS) and automation-related issues.
- Lead and develop Logistics Technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and IT teams to drive continuous improvement, system performance, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related technical degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years 3PL automation experience.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and automation
- Strong proficiency of MS Office (Outlook and Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills on all levels
- Strong organizational, task prioritizing, and time management skills
- Analytical and problem solving abilities.
