About the role

  • Project Manager for CSA Group facilitating development of national health care standards. Engaging with experts in health sectors for quality, safety, and performance enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects from start to finish.
  • They must have strong project management skills and be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The development process includes, among other things, developing new standards requirements/cost-benefit analyses, recruiting members, committee management, facilitating the development of technical content, technical writing/review, planning and organizing meetings, and conducting broader consultations to prepare high-quality documents.
  • In addition to standards development, participate in research activities to generate knowledge to inform standards or their implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, kinesiology, health sciences, or a related field.
  • A graduate degree (Master's) is an asset.
  • PMP certification is an asset.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in project management or standards development in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards or experience working with organizations that support people with disabilities is an asset.
