Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects from start to finish.
They must have strong project management skills and be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The development process includes, among other things, developing new standards requirements/cost-benefit analyses, recruiting members, committee management, facilitating the development of technical content, technical writing/review, planning and organizing meetings, and conducting broader consultations to prepare high-quality documents.
In addition to standards development, participate in research activities to generate knowledge to inform standards or their implementation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, kinesiology, health sciences, or a related field.
A graduate degree (Master's) is an asset.
PMP certification is an asset.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in project management or standards development in a relevant field.
Knowledge of accessibility standards or experience working with organizations that support people with disabilities is an asset.
