About the role
- Project Manager for CSA Group facilitating development of national health care standards. Engaging with experts in health sectors for quality, safety, and performance enhancements.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects from start to finish.
- They must have strong project management skills and be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- The development process includes, among other things, developing new standards requirements/cost-benefit analyses, recruiting members, committee management, facilitating the development of technical content, technical writing/review, planning and organizing meetings, and conducting broader consultations to prepare high-quality documents.
- In addition to standards development, participate in research activities to generate knowledge to inform standards or their implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, kinesiology, health sciences, or a related field.
- A graduate degree (Master's) is an asset.
- PMP certification is an asset.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in project management or standards development in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards or experience working with organizations that support people with disabilities is an asset.
