About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to directors and project managers working on MTMD mandates
- Manage a portfolio of projects distributed among multiple project managers
- Create and update projects in BST in accordance with MTMD contractual requirements
- Prepare draft invoices, collaborate with project managers for validation, and issue final invoices
- Verify the accuracy of supporting documentation and meet billing deadlines
- Provide financial analyses of budget variances, work in progress (WIP), revenue recognition, project-end forecasts, and backlog
- Perform monthly billing-cycle activities, including budget validation and follow-up on outstanding actions
- Ensure compliance with MTMD administrative, contractual, and financial requirements
- Create and maintain reference guides and process documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve financial and billing processes
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project analysis, billing, project controls, or operational finance related to MTMD
- Advanced Excel skills for financial data analysis
- Strong attention to detail in data entry, validation, and verification
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project managers and client representatives
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- English is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
- Experience with budget tracking, variance analysis, and project profitability management
- Knowledge of BST or a similar project management system is an asset
- Experience with government or para-government contracts is considered a significant asset
