About the role
- Project Manager for CSA Group managing high-impact public policy events and stakeholder engagement activities. Facilitating discussions and collaborations among policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders.
Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit qualified stakeholders, moderators, and speakers to ensure high-quality discussions.
- Develop discussion themes, questions, and visual materials to facilitate engaging and informative roundtables.
- Coordinate all event logistics, including scheduling, travel arrangements, technical requirements, and on-site or virtual support.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including communications, design, digital, and operations, to manage outreach, promotion, and post-event follow-up.
- Manage multiple events and projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external policy stakeholders, fostering collaboration and supporting the strategic objectives of CSA’s Public Policy Centre.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or certificate in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, community engagement/outreach, marketing, event management) or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in event and/or project management, preferably in research, the public sector, or the non-profit sector.
- Experience in customer service, including conflict resolution.
- Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Proficiency in English and French is an asset.
- Ability to challenge the status quo to drive systemic change and improvements.
