Responsibilities
Identify and recruit qualified stakeholders, moderators, and speakers to ensure high-quality discussions.
Develop discussion themes, questions, and visual materials to facilitate engaging and informative roundtables.
Coordinate all event logistics, including scheduling, travel arrangements, technical requirements, and on-site or virtual support.
Collaborate with internal teams, including communications, design, digital, and operations, to manage outreach, promotion, and post-event follow-up.
Manage multiple events and projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external policy stakeholders, fostering collaboration and supporting the strategic objectives of CSA’s Public Policy Centre.
Requirements
Post-secondary degree or certificate in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, community engagement/outreach, marketing, event management) or equivalent.
3–5 years of experience in event and/or project management, preferably in research, the public sector, or the non-profit sector.
Experience in customer service, including conflict resolution.
Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
Proficiency in English and French is an asset.
Ability to challenge the status quo to drive systemic change and improvements.
