About the role
- Senior Software Engineer designing and developing scalable data solutions for fintech d1g1t. Collaborating across teams to bridge business needs with data systems and leading technical efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of robust, scalable ETL processes using Python and Airflow.
- Collaborate directly with technical peers and non-technical stakeholders to unpack business requirements and translate them into elegant, scalable software solutions.
- Architect and build intuitive internal tools that streamline workflows, support colleagues, and directly benefit clients.
- Take ownership of small projects and manage/mentor pods of 1-2 other engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
- Highly proficient in Python and possess strong system design skills.
- Deep, practical understanding of relational databases, schema design, and performance optimization.
- Comfortable with AI development and eager to learn and explore new AI technologies.
- Highly organized, self-reliant, and excellent communicator with experience breaking down project scopes for non-technical colleagues.
