About the role
- Cyber Security Engineer at D3 Security enhancing SOC capabilities via AI-driven Morpheus platform. Engaging with clients to translate their needs into effective security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct product demos and technical presentations to showcase D3 Security’s solutions
- Collaborate with clients to understand their SOC needs and translate requirements into production-ready automation systems
- Design, develop, and optimize detection and incident response playbooks using Morpheus
- Partner closely with sales engineers and product teams to build and deploy tailored solutions for customers
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping clients troubleshoot issues
- Communicate clearly and proactively to maintain strong customer relationships
- Share knowledge and mentor peers to elevate team performance
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Security Engineer
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to engage directly with customers in demos
- Coding/scripting proficiency (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
- In-depth understanding of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
- Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: Unix/Windows administration, Active Directory, firewalls, IAM, vulnerability scanning, EDR, or secure coding
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP) and common services (web, mail, FTP)
- Experience with SOC technologies such as IDS/IPS, DLP, DAM, or SIEM platforms
- Strong analytical mindset and troubleshooting ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven leadership qualities and collaborative spirit
