Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the full-stack development of application features.
- Participate in the technical design and implementation of solutions.
- Be involved throughout the full development cycle (analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance).
- Serve as a role model for technical quality, best practices, and software discipline.
- Participate in project planning and ensure alignment with application objectives.
- Monitor task progress, identify blockers, and help resolve them quickly.
- Represent the development team in cross-team discussions (reviews, planning, strategic decisions).
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the domain.
- Promote best practices in development, architecture, and documentation.
- Build a deep understanding of the company’s business processes, products, and services to design technical solutions that meet user needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7 to 10 years of experience in software development
- Fluency in both English and French
- Comfortable working with a variety of open-source technologies, databases, tools, and cloud services
- Back-end: TypeScript, Node.js, Firebase Cloud Functions, NestJS
- Databases: Firestore, MSSQL
- Front-end: Angular, Angular Material, Bootstrap, TypeScript, SCSS
- Cloud: Firebase, Google Cloud Platform
- Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, Firebase Hosting
