About the role
- Software Engineering Intern at Dana TM4 working on embedded systems for clean transportation electrification projects. Engaging in programming, debugging, and validation of mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Programming mission-critical embedded systems for engine control, vehicles and power generation
- Integrating and debugging control algorithms, servo-controls and simulations
- Analyzing schematic and practical electrical/electronic circuits
- Performing design validation and verification on our products
- Documenting work
- Participating in design reviews
- All other related tasks.
Requirements
- Student in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Experience in C, C++ programming
- Experience with software development tools (GIT, Azure DevOps, Enterprise Architect (UML), JIRA, etc.)
- Experience with 32-bit microcontrollers (Infineon, TI, ARM, etc.)
- Experience with tools such as JTAG debugger and Oscilloscope
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink (an asset)
- Proactive and autonomous
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to document work
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
