About the role

  • Software Engineering Intern at Dana TM4 working on embedded systems for clean transportation electrification projects. Engaging in programming, debugging, and validation of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Programming mission-critical embedded systems for engine control, vehicles and power generation
  • Integrating and debugging control algorithms, servo-controls and simulations
  • Analyzing schematic and practical electrical/electronic circuits
  • Performing design validation and verification on our products
  • Documenting work
  • Participating in design reviews
  • All other related tasks.

Requirements

  • Student in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • Experience in C, C++ programming
  • Experience with software development tools (GIT, Azure DevOps, Enterprise Architect (UML), JIRA, etc.)
  • Experience with 32-bit microcontrollers (Infineon, TI, ARM, etc.)
  • Experience with tools such as JTAG debugger and Oscilloscope
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink (an asset)
  • Proactive and autonomous
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated ability to document work
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
