About the role
- Data Scientist specializing in grant fraud detection at Desjardins. Providing advanced analytics and AI solutions to support business decisions using extensive data.
Responsibilities
- Mine, evaluate, perform feature engineering, inspect and adjust available data, and select predictors for optimal use in predictive modeling
- Analyze client and partner needs, anticipate the potential impacts of deployed models and their operationalization, and assist with model rollout
- Apply statistical, machine learning and artificial intelligence methods to leverage data and develop and maintain models and segmentations that meet business needs
- Write the code required to prepare and mine data, and to develop, evaluate, support, deploy and manage complex models
- Prepare clear, easy-to-understand presentations and data visualizations to support business decisions and present to committees
- Specify requirements and constraints to ensure model performance and keep documentation on data and calculation rules up to date
- Identify opportunities to improve rules and systems, and recommend enhancements for data management tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of French is required
