About the role
- Senior capital markets and treasury advisor leading complex financial initiatives at Desjardins. Advising stakeholders, developing policies, and representing the unit before decision-making bodies.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients and partners to help position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives
- Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs supporting strategic projects and initiatives
- Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
- Represent the unit before decision-making bodies
- Represent Desjardins’s position when making agreements with external partners and organizations
- Lead complex and innovative development projects and strategic initiatives
- Serve as specialist advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for decision-making bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
- Available to travel up to 60% of the time within the South Shore-Western Montérégie territory
