About the role
- Salesforce Tech Lead supporting IT efficiency within the Business Financing Department. Responsible for designing and developing solutions on Salesforce and nCino to enhance business technology alignment.
Responsibilities
- Support IT efficiency within the Business Financing Department as part of the DFEM program
- Design, develop and enhance solutions on Salesforce and nCino, ensuring their quality, performance, security and robustness
- Align business needs with technology solutions in large-scale initiatives
- Design scalable, optimized architectures while helping steer direction
- Mentor team and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
- Put together clean, well-structured documentation
- Advise teams on using technology to develop business solutions
- Develop highly complex execution strategies, and analyze, design and document business products and solutions
- Analyze and develop software products (design, code, automate, and run tests)
- Establish and draft development methods and design patterns, procedures and IT choices
- Help develop documentation and prepare and deliver training for peers and consumers
- Identify system optimization opportunities and underlying impacts of changes
- Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidents
- Represent teams in dealings with senior management and external partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of French is required
- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and declarative tools (Flow, Approval Processes)
- Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth and integration mechanisms
- Knowledge of Jira or similar tools
- Expertise in designing scalable Salesforce architectures that respect governor limits
- Expertise in Salesforce DX (SFDX), Git, CI/CD Pipelines and Environment Management (sandboxes, releases, deployments)
- Expertise with the nCino platform
