About the role

  • Wealth Management Advisor responsible for advising clients on financial strategies and developing business relationships. Working with mass-affluent individuals and businesses in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Advise members and clients on the best strategies and determine target outcomes.
  • Manage business relationships, assess member/client satisfaction and service quality, follow up and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay on top of financial services industry news, market trends and best practices in your field so you can identify business development opportunities.
  • Participate in outreach activities and be present in the community.
  • Conduct onsite visits of the businesses you serve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
  • Hold the Financial Planner designation issued by the IQPF, or be willing to obtain it within the next 24 months
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Available to work evenings or weekends on occasion, based on regional business development activities
