About the role

  • As an Advisory Agent, enhance member and client experiences by providing personalized financial support. Work at Desjardins to promote cooperative values and assist with financial products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Help give members and clients a better experience, and ensure that they are satisfied
  • Make sure members and clients feel welcome, listen to and address their needs
  • Help members with their financial empowerment
  • Promote the organization's cooperative values through the support provided
  • Support and advise members and clients on available financial products and services
  • Promote the various distribution channels available
  • Open accounts for members and help with their financial transactions
  • Remain attentive to members' needs to offer personalized solutions
  • Identify business opportunities, refer members to colleagues for specialized needs
  • Be an ambassador of digital solutions and advise members on their use
  • Ensure financial transactions go smoothly, addressing any issues
  • Provide information and support on technological tools, sharing advice about prevention and safety
  • Stay up to date with standards, products, and services in the field
  • Uphold compliance, security, and risk management standards

Requirements

  • High school diplomas in a related field
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Knowledge of all counter and convenience products and services
  • Knowledge of all Desjardins products and services aimed at caisse members and those offered by business centres, components, distribution networks/channels and as well as those of competitors
  • Knowledge of integrating data into systems
  • Knowledge of security measures, legal framework and internal controls
  • Understanding of the philosophy and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives
  • Knowledge of operating procedures related to convenience products and services and transactions
  • Knowledge of service standards
  • Available to work one evening per week and every other Saturday
  • Action oriented, Communicates effectively, Customer Focus, Differences, Nimble learning, Situational adaptability, Tech savvy
