About the role
- Industrial Millwright role at Agropur focusing on mechanical problem solving and equipment maintenance. Night shifts required with various responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Night shift position - 10:30pm-7am
- Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor, performing a variety of maintenance services
- Analyze mechanical problems; provide quick and innovative solutions for equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills, diagnosing problems and carrying out the repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance WO on all production equipment’s in an acceptable time frame
- Other specific duties might be included
Requirements
- Minimum grade 12 High School Diploma with valid Canadian Industrial Millwright License
- Minimum 3-5 year experience working as Industrial Maintenance Millwright in Manufacturing
- Experience with machining shop tools, Stick Welding and Oxyacetylene torch
- Must be able to work efficiently in resolving urgent issues
- Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, EMaint database system an asset)
- Dairy processing experience an asset
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must also be familiar with WHMIS, GMP’s and good health and safety work practices
- Must have a positive “Can Do Attitude” and customer focus
- Able to work various shifts
